A story Ch.3

So we left off where you were getting up to see who was at the door...alrightie then.~QUIZ STARTS!~ You open the door to see.....Davey and Adam. You: uhhh hi? Davey: where's jade? You notice there's a little bit of concern and nervousness in his voice. You: he's here, why? Adam: Hunter got hurt....he's in the hospital. You hear charging footsteps behind you. Jade: what happened? Davey and Adam begin to run down the old, creaky stairs. You run after them and jade follows behind. You four get in Davey's car and Davey pulls out of the Kentucky Star hotel parking lot. Jade: what the fuck happened? Adam: Hunter was being a jackass and ran across the street and got hit by a car. Your heart sinks and your face flushes. You feel like you're gonna cry. Davey: we're hoping he isn't hurt........or dead. You cover your mouth with your hands and gasp. Jade notices. Jade: you okay? You: i sould be asking you that.....Jade: he'll be fine. He puts his arm around you and starts to rub your back gentley. Davey then starts driving so fast you think you're all gonna crash and blow up. You guys arrive 5 streets and 2 tickets later to St. Lawrence Hospital, where Hunter is being taken care of. You 4 burst through the front door and run up to the lady at the front desk. You: (pant pant) we're here to see Hunter Burgan. Lady: okay...let me see where he is. She pulls out the keyboard and clicks all the keys like she's trying to race typing with the girl next to her. Lady: yes, yes....Hunter's in very bad condition. You heart sinks once again, this time making a single tear roll down your face. Jade then starts to rub your back again, trying to get you to calm down. Lady: he's been in the emergency room for 3 hours now....i'll let you know when you can see him. Davey: ok, thanks. You go sit down in one of the taky, pink chairs in the waiting room. It made you think of the ones in the Kentucky Star lobby. You bury your head in your hands and begin to cry. You cry for Hunter. You cry to Jade, Davey, and Adam, you cry for your parents, who also died in the hospital. You then see Jade sit next to you. You hug him, hoping he'll give you strength to face your weakness. Sorrow. You feel Jade begin to lightly stroke your face. It feels relaxing, taking some of that sorrow off your shoulders. You see Davey and Adam standing, talking to one another, looking not too happy either. You then hear the lady at the font desk call Jade. You hear her say you can see Hunter now. You follow everyone down a long hallway with the same salmon pink-colored doors. You then see Adam turn into one of the doors. You look in. You see Hunter lying in a bed, tubes up his nose and both of his arms in casts. Fuck. He won't be able to play bass. You then turn and cry into Jades chest. Jade puts his arms around you was you weap from the painful sight. Davey rubs your back, also. You then hear a ruffling of sheets behind you. You turn around. You see Hutner open one eye. Your heart leaps with joy. Your ego now begins to sing to you. ALLELUIA! ALLELUIA! You see Adam walk over. Hunter: (whispering) what happened? Adam: i told you to always look both ways before crossing the street. Hunter shows a weak smile and you walk over and stand next to Adam. Hunter looks at you, both eyes fully open now. Hunter: Hey Erin.....long time no see, huh? You smile. Your too happy for words. Your presence is joined by a doctor with a big nose and thick-rimmed glasses. Typical doctor. You all take notice and look at him, waiting for him to say something. Doc: okay, Hunter, you seem to be in very bad condition. Jade: tell us something we don't know. You jab him in the stomach so he'd shut up. Doc: anyway, both of your arms are broken in 7 places. Davey's eyes go wide, Adam raises his eyebrows, Jades mouth, along with yours, drops in shock. Adam: the who'll play the bass. You all stand there wuiet. Jade the looks at you. You raise an eyebrow. You: what? do i have something on my face? Jade: you know how to play bass, don't you? You eyes grow wide. You do. You: you want me to.........no. i couldn't. Davey: you have to. Hunter: i'll teach you everything, as soon as i get outta this damn hospital. You smile at his comment. You: fine, i'll do it. Everyones faces light up. You: but if you get tomato's chucked at you because i'm not Hunter, don't cry to me. Jade looks at you like this (-_-), which makes you laugh. You look at the clock on the wall. 11:30. Man, you're tired. You see Jade sitting in a chair and he motions you to come over. You walk over and sit in his lap and put your head on his shoulder. You can feel and smell his breath. Minty ;). You look up at him. Jade: you tired? You: no...i'm exshaused. Jade smiles and kisses you on the forehead, sending shivers up your spine. You rest your head on his shoulder and drift off....soon falling asleep.You wake up, not hearing your radio or cellphone, but the feeling of hot air on your neck. it was Jade, who was asleep. He looks so hto when he's sleeping XP. You get off his lap and strech, causing your shirt to ride up. You pull it down, making sure nobody saw. You walk over to the side of Hunters bed, you see him sleeping. He almost looks dead. You stare at him when you hear a noise behind you. You turn around, scared, to find.....ADAM SNORING!!!!!! You try so hard to burst out laughing. Eventually, you ran out of the room into the hall and laughed at nothing. You walk in to see Jade awake. You're still not trying to laugh. Jade walks over to you. Jade: (whispering) what's so funny? You: Adam's snoring. You then hear the same noise again and Jade's now the one not trying to burst with laughter. You then see Adam wake up. You two get serious faces on. Hunter then wakes up, making a moaning sound. Hunter: oooo my arms. Ow. davey walks in, drinking something but you're too lazy to look. Davey's then followed by the doctor. Doc: okay Hunter, you're free to go. So you guys leave, Hunters arms both in casts. Jade: you gotta get ready. You: why? where are we going? Jade: on tour...you're playing the bass, 'memeber? You then suddenley remember. You: yeah...i gtta get some stuff first, k? Jade: alright. Jade is now driving (thank God....Davey, i luv ya to death but you just need to drive better lol) and you're sitting next to him. You've never performed before. Your nervous and excited. More xcited then nervous, though. You pull in to the parking lot of the Kentuky Star hotel. You look at the sign. The same star is rising and falling. You love the motel. You love the creaky stairs and the tacky furniture. it just seems like........home. You get out of the car, running through the lobby, up the creaky steps to your room, where you see everything in it's place, like you left it. You then grab a duffel. You shove clothes in the duffel. Along with some makeup. You put in your laptop and grab your bag. You look at your room. Bare but messy. You: well, until next time. You then close the door behind you and proceed to the car.....AND I'LL STOP THERE!!!! THANKS A BUNCH FOR TAKING PART 3!!! STAY sXe!!!!!!
